Lil Wayne Supports Jordan Love and Discusses Lakers' Title Hopes on 'First Things First'

Lil Wayne shares his thoughts on Jordan Love's performance and the Lakers' championship prospects during his hosting stint on 'First Things First'.

Lil Wayne has had an eventful few days, performing at the SNL 50: The Anniversary Special and stepping in as co-host for FS1’s First Things First.

During the episode, Wayne was joined by Nick Wright and Chris Broussard, where they discussed various topics including the NBA All-Star Game and NFL free agency.

Wayne expressed enthusiasm for Jordan Love, the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, as they examined his performance from this past season and debated the future of former Super Bowl champion quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Wayne noted, “I like where he is, and I believe that next year will be better.”

In contrast, analyst Eric Mangini expressed skepticism, suggesting that Love’s recent performance declined after his contract extension. Despite this, Wayne defended Love, stating, “I think he was hurt,” pointing to previous injuries that limited Love during crucial games.

Additionally, the discussion touched on LeBron James’ decision to opt out of the NBA All-Star Game, which Wayne interpreted as a sign of confidence in the Lakers’ potential to clinch the championship this season.
