Club World Cup 2025 Draw: Lionel Messi, Inter Miami Grouped with Porto, Palmeiras, and Al Ahly
Lionel Messi and Inter Miami are set to begin the Club World Cup against the Egyptian team Al Ahly. They will also compete in the group stage against Palmeiras and Porto. The tournament is scheduled to take place in the U.S. next year.
The draw held in Miami revealed the first three opponents for the 32 participating teams in this expanded event. The tournament will be held in the U.S. from June 15 to July 13, using 12 stadiums across 11 cities. The final match will be hosted at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the same venue that will host the 2026 World Cup final.
