In a shocking moment during the match against Hellas Verona, Fiorentina striker Moise Kean collapsed on the pitch after receiving a knee to the head from Verona midfielder Pawel Dawidowicz.
Kean was subsequently taken to a hospital for assessment, where it was confirmed that he suffered from head trauma.
On Monday, the club announced:
“ACF Fiorentina announced that Moise Kean, during the night, was discharged from the hospital in Verona and returned to Florence. The clinical and diagnostic tests carried out were all negative.”
Despite initial concerns about his condition, Kean’s recovery seems promising as he was released the following day after thorough evaluations.
This incident marks the second occurrence this season where a Fiorentina player has collapsed on the field, following Edoardo Bove’s cardiac arrest incident in December.
