The Tennessee Titans have several options regarding their No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. They might draft a quarterback like Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, choose Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter, trade out of the pick, or select the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter.
Head Coach Brian Callahan was inquired about Hunter’s potential role at the NFL Scouting Combine, and he provided an intriguing response:
“He probably starts at corner, and then you find ways to inject him in the offense as he gets more comfortable, he plays more and more offensively,” Callahan stated, according to reporter Paul Kuharsky.
Thus, it seems Hunter would commence as a cornerback but also have opportunities to contribute offensively, increasing his role as he adapts. Hunter’s performance during his last season at Colorado was impressive, with notable statistics across offensive and defensive plays.
