Chicago's United Center to Host Two Rival WNBA Games

The Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky are moving their games to the United Center to accommodate larger audiences, a strategic decision reflects the league's growth.

The Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever announced that two games, originally planned for Wintrust Arena, will now take place at the United Center. This decision follows the explosive growth of the WNBA and allows for a larger audience, reflecting the increasing interest in women’s basketball.

New Matchups:

  • Saturday, June 7: Fever at Sky, 8 p.m. ET — at the United Center
  • Sunday, July 27: Fever at Sky, 3 p.m. ET — at the United Center

Adam Fox, President and CEO of the Sky, stated, “Given the explosive growth in the WNBA, we now have a first-ever opportunity to invite more fans to experience this matchup at a larger venue.”

Caitlin Clark had previously expressed surprise at not playing at the United Center, as the Fever prepares for a season that includes their games moved to larger arenas.
