Embiid's Season Comes to an End, Nurse Confirms No Recent Setback

Joel Embiid's season is officially over as the 76ers have ruled him out due to ongoing knee issues, and coach Nick Nurse clarified that he did not suffer a recent setback.

Philadelphia 76ers coach Nick Nurse addressed the media before the team’s game against the Golden State Warriors, confirming that star player Joel Embiid did not experience any recent setback as they have decided to shut him down for the rest of the season owing to persistent issues with his left knee.

“Not that I know of, no,” Nurse stated when inquired about any recent setbacks for Embiid. “It’s felt good at times, and it’s felt not good at times. It’s just kind of been going like that.”

After managing his knee discomfort throughout the season, Embiid’s status has taken a turn for the worse, prompting the team to rule him out for future games. Currently, they are engaged with medical professionals to determine the exact treatment necessary for Embiid’s recovery.
