Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles

Time: Sunday, 3 p.m. ET (NBC and fubo, try for free)
Open: Eagles -6, O/U 45.5

“The Rams faced the dreaded Monday night game during the wild-card round, a challenge that has historically plagued teams. Over the past two years, three teams advanced from Monday, only to fall flat in the divisional round. From that context, it seems I should take the Eagles right now.

However, if any team can overcome the Monday curse, it’s the Rams, as they’ve done this before, winning the wild-card game in 2021 and going on to win Super Bowl LVI.

If they aim for another Super Bowl run, they must first defeat the Eagles and will have to tackle Saquon Barkley. Tackling him has proven difficult for any team, with him rushing for a franchise-record 255 yards in their previous encounter, contributing to an Eagles rushing total of 314 yards.

If Barkley nears those numbers again, expect an Eagles win. Though the Rams defense has stepped up, allowing only an average of 104.1 rushing yards per game since Week 12.

Prediction: Rams upset the Eagles, but it won’t be easy.”

Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills

Time: Sunday, 6:30 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)
Open: Bills -1.5, O/U 52.5

“Baltimore ran for 271 yards the last time they met. This time, they face a healthier Buffalo defense. The combination of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry gives the Ravens an edge on the ground, while they allow the fewest rushing yards per game. Despite potential injuries, Jackson has solid support with Mark Andrews and others.

Expect a classic shootout, with the Ravens likely winning.”
