LSU's Aneesah Morrow Set to Return for NCAA Tournament Following Foot Injury

Aneesah Morrow, after facing an injury setback, is expected to be back in action for the upcoming NCAA Tournament, along with teammate Flau'Jae Johnson.

Aneesah Morrow will be back for the NCAA Tournament, according to LSU coach Kim Mulkey after Morrow suffered a lower leg injury during their game against Texas in the SEC Tournament semifinals.

Morrow was carried off after a fall in the third quarter and returned with a boot, but Mulkey reported that she has reaggravated a mid-foot sprain from February. Luckily, the injury is not severe, and she is expected to be fully ready for the tournament. “She’s good to go,” Mulkey said. “I’m not surprised she was fighting to get back in the game, but we have bigger things to consider.”

LSU, coming off a 101-87 victory over Florida, will find out their tournament seed on Selection Sunday, set for March 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
