A former UFC welterweight champion, known for his thrilling fighting style, Robbie Lawler has achieved a significant milestone in mixed martial arts by being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame this summer as part of the Class of 2025. Lawler, who retired in 2023 at 41, made his debut in the UFC at just 20 years old in 2002 and returned to the organization in 2013, where he became a champion and defended his title multiple times in epic bouts against fighters like Rory MacDonald and Carlos Condit.
“Robbie Lawler is one of the most deserving fighters to be honored in this way,” said UFC CEO Dana White. “His career and ability to engage fans have been remarkable, and we are thrilled to welcome him into the Hall of Fame.”
The induction ceremony is set for June 26 during UFC’s International Fight Week in Las Vegas.
