NASCAR at Phoenix: Bell Clinches Victory Over Hamlin in Thrilling Finish

Christopher Bell achieves his third consecutive win by narrowly defeating Denny Hamlin in a dramatic final race at Phoenix.

Christopher Bell held off Denny Hamlin to win the Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix Raceway, marking his third consecutive victory in the 2025 NASCAR season.

Notable Finish

After an exciting restart with only two laps remaining, Bell edged out his teammate in a photofinish, becoming the first driver to achieve three wins in a row since 2021.

Leading a race-high of 102 laps, Bell faced challenges with tire strategies and crashes that tested his mettle. With two sets of red “option” tires leading to a thrilling finish, he managed to secure victory by a mere .049 seconds.

“Whenever you’re sitting there dreaming it up, that’s about as ugly as it gets,” Bell told Fox Sports, sharing his experience on the strategy used during the race.
