Duke claims the top spot in the AP Top 25 rankings for the first time since 2021, with Houston moving up to second place after Auburn's losses.

Duke has claimed the No. 1 position in the AP Top 25 college basketball poll for the first time since 2021, following a week in which Auburn suffered two losses.

The Blue Devils’ rise is attributed to their strong performances, while Auburn, which remained undefeated at the top for eight weeks, fell to third.

AP Top 25:

  1. Duke (52 votes)
  2. Houston (5 votes)
  3. Auburn (4 votes)
  4. Florida
  5. Alabama
  6. St. John’s
  7. Michigan State
  8. Tennessee
