Delaware's Remarkable Journey Continues with CAA Upset over Towson

Delaware has achieved another incredible victory in the CAA Tournament, defeating the number one seed, Towson, 82-72, thereby advancing to the finals. This upset marks a remarkable turnaround for the Blue Hens, who entered the tournament with a record of 15-19 and a six-game losing streak before this revival. They are now on the brink of an invitation to the NCAA Tournament.

In pursuit of their third NCAA appearance this century, Delaware will face the winner of the matchup between UNC-Wilmington and Charleston.

Background: Towson had secured the top seed by finishing the regular season with a stellar 16-2 record in the conference. They were aiming for their first NCAA Tournament spot since 1991.
