Oliver Miller, the talented center known as “The Big O,” passed away at 54. He was instrumental in helping the Arkansas Razorbacks reach the Final Four and was drafted as the No. 22 pick in the 1992 NBA Draft.
Miller was a key figure during his nine seasons in the NBA, playing for several teams including the Phoenix Suns, where he played alongside Charles Barkley.
Recently, during an event honoring Arkansas’s 1990 Final Four team, it was revealed he had cancer, leading to his untimely passing. Miller’s contributions to basketball are profound, and he will be sorely missed.
