DeMarcus Lawrence has opened up about his move from the Dallas Cowboys to the Seattle Seahawks, making it clear that while Dallas will always feel like home to him, he does not have fond feelings for the Cowboys as a team. Lawrence stated, “Dallas is my home. Made my home there. My family lives there. I’m forever gonna be there. I know for sure I’m not gonna win a Super Bowl there. So, yeah, we here.”
This remark didn’t sit well with former teammate Micah Parsons, who reacted strongly on social media, labeling Lawrence’s statements as being rooted in envy.
In retaliation, Lawrence defended his opinions, insisting that although Parsons’s comments were offensive, they didn’t alter his views. He emphasized, “Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth. Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left.”
This situation reflects a larger narrative where both players are part of their respective teams’ journeys in a league where championships are scarce, especially for the Cowboys, who haven’t claimed a Super Bowl title since 1996.
