Stephen Curry Makes NBA History with 4,000 Career 3-Pointers

Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry becomes the first player ever to reach 4,000 three-pointers in NBA history.

In a remarkable achievement, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors has become the first player in NBA history to hit 4,000 career three-pointers during a game against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night. The iconic shot was made with 8:21 left in the third quarter.

Curry’s achievement sets him apart, leading with a total of 4,000 three-pointers made, well ahead of second-ranked James Harden of the LA Clippers, who has made 3,127.

This season, Curry is averaging 24.5 points, 6.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 44.8% from the field and 39.8% from three.

As Curry approaches his 37th birthday, he remains a dominant force in the league, boasting a record of four NBA championships, two MVP awards, and ten All-NBA selections, all achieved during his 16-year tenure with the Golden State Warriors.
