A Strong Performance

On March 14, 2025, Justin Thomas surged back in spectacular fashion, tying the course record at TPC Sawgrass with a score of 62, featuring a remarkable 11 birdies. Despite a disappointing opening round of 78, Thomas utilized his skills to improve significantly and achieved one of the best rounds of his career.

After opening with a score of 6 over par, he quickly went to work, carding birdies on the first two holes. Throughout the round, his putting improved dramatically, enabling him to secure a 10-under score, solidifying his place in golf history.

Thomas’s second round was lauded, but it ended on a tense note as he found water on the 18th hole, narrowly missing a historic 61.
