You may argue that Christian Pulisic is having the best season ever for an American playing abroad in Europe’s top leagues, and last Saturday was a clear demonstration of his talent. The Pennsylvania native, matching his impressive goal count from last season, scored during a game against Como. His goal, which occurred in the 53rd minute, helped his team mount a comeback, ultimately winning 2-1 after trailing 1-0.
Pulisic began the match and received an assist from Tijjani Reijnders. Infiltrating the left side of the box, while many coaches would advise sending in a low ball to teammates, Pulisic had different plans. With remarkable skill, he took a powerful shot into the far side of the net, using his left foot despite being predominantly right-footed.

This marks Pulisic’s second consecutive game where he played a crucial role in turning the tide for his team. On March 8, while Milan was trailing 2-0 against Lecce, an own goal narrowed the gap. Pulisic then equalized from a penalty before scoring the match-winner in the 81st minute at 3-2, positioning Milan in seventh place, five points shy of a top-four finish.
Following the international break, Milan is set to battle Serie A favorites Napoli on March 30. All Serie A matches can be viewed live on Paramount+.
