Denver NWSL Expansion Team Reveals Stadium Plans

NWSL's expansion team in Denver has announced plans for a new 14,000-seat stadium expected to open by 2028, following its inaugural season in 2026.

The new Santa Fe Yards in Denver will be the official home of the NWSL Denver team. The team has revealed their plans for a new stadium that can seat 14,500 fans. Scheduled for completion in 2028, this development follows Denver’s announcement as the latest expansion side in the NWSL, kicking off its play in 2026.

“This announcement is a game-changer for the NWSL and a bold statement about where women’s sports are headed…” “This will be the largest overall investment in a women’s professional sports team in history…” said Rob Cohen.

Fans will be able to watch the matches on CBS, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+, and the CBS Sports Golazo Network. The stadium is anticipated to be a multi-purpose facility, providing a space for community engagement and activities beyond soccer.
