Tigers, Alex Bregman Stalled

The Detroit Tigers are actively pursuing free-agent infielder Alex Bregman. However, recent reports suggest that talks are currently at a standstill as the season approaches. The Tigers are looking for a right-handed hitting third baseman and have the capacity to engage a pivotal free agent.

Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press noted:

“The Detroit Tigers remain interested, but negotiations are at a standstill with less than one month until the first full-squad workout in spring training.”

Bregman, 30, had a solid 2024 season with the Houston Astros, hitting .260 with 26 home runs.
