“I understand the narrative that’s being painted. It doesn’t necessarily align with where I’m at mentally or emotionally, and that’s OK,” Van Lith stated. Translation: “I get the story they’re trying to tell, but it doesn’t reflect how I feel. That’s fine.”

Van Lith noted that Louisville’s defensive strategies were varied and challenging, but she remained focused on supporting her teammates, stating:

“Teams can keep doubling me, and I’m gonna keep giving it to my teammates because they’re putting points on the board.” Translation: “If they keep trying to cover me, I’ll just keep passing to my teammates who can score.”

TCU’s victory marks their historical progress in the tournament, with hopes now set on facing Notre Dame next.
