Cam Ward Considers NFL Career His Lifelong Pursuit

Quarterback Cam Ward expresses his conviction that his NFL career has always been his destiny, emphasizing both his arm strength and versatility.

The Tennessee Titans have the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and quarterback Cam Ward might be their choice. Ward is confident about his skills, stating that reaching the NFL has “always been my destiny.”

“The arm strength and the confidence that I’m bringing,” said Ward during Miami’s pro day. “I just think I’ll be able to put the ball where I want. I’ve dreamed about this since I was a kid. Whether it’s NFL, MLB or NBA, I wanted to go pro in something. That’s always been my destiny.”

He demonstrated his capabilities with impressive throws at his pro day. Ward also displayed his versatility by catching a trick-play pass, joking about being “interchangeable.”

“I got hands,” Ward stated with a smile. “I’m interchangeable.”

During his conversation with Carthon, Quandre Diggs, a cousin of Ward and former Pro Bowler, expressed support for him, indicating he would like to team up with Ward if they both land on the same NFL team.
