Prospects of TNA Tag Titles in WWE Programming Looks Promising for Matt and Jeff Hardy
The Hardy brothers express optimism about the potential inclusion of TNA tag titles in WWE events due to the current partnership between the organizations.
The Hardy brothers’ unexpected comeback at WrestleMania 33 received one of the most enthusiastic welcomes in WWE history. Fast forward eight years, and Matt and Jeff Hardy are optimistic about embarking on another main roster journey, potentially with the TNA world tag team championships in tow.
The Landscape of Promotions Collaboration
The merging of WWE and TNA’s talents previously existed solely in the realm of fan fantasies. Yet since January’s announcement of a multi-year partnership, the two companies have increasingly collaborated. Matt and Jeff have made notable appearances in NXT, especially in February, where they defended their TNA tag team titles against NXT tag team champions, Fraxiom.
Matt speculated, “I think there is a very strong possibility you end up seeing that before it’s all said and done,” hinting at the prospect of TNA title matches in WWE main events. The Hardy’s legacy boasts of nine WWE tag team title reigns and more, making their potential involvement a significant addition to WWE’s offerings.
“Anything is possible in pro wrestling,” Jeff expressed during an interview.
Their exciting history, rich with accolades and memorable matches, continues to set them apart as trailblazers in the wrestling scene, and the future looks even brighter with the merging of TNA and WWE talent.
