The New England Patriots have faced challenges both on and off the field recently. With just eight wins over the past two seasons, they rank among the worst teams in the NFL according to the latest NFLPA survey.
The survey included responses from 1,695 players across all 32 teams, breaking down the teams’ qualities in areas such as treatment of families, food services, nutrition, and training facilities. Unfortunately, the Patriots rated 31st out of 32 teams, just above the Arizona Cardinals. Categories like weight room and team travel received failing grades, with comments indicating issues like lack of Wi-Fi and aging planes.
Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, described these low ratings as “eye-opening.” He affirmed that changes are on the way, focusing on enhancing the team’s working environment. Kraft expressed a desire for the Patriots to revert back to being a sought-after team for players. He commented:
“It was an eye-opener for me, and then I put it in context… The culture changed in the past two years.”
Kraft emphasized the importance of creating a top-notch experience for both current and potential players. He assured that they will be upgrading facilities, including their aircraft used for team travel.
Additionally, the Patriots are also set to build a new training facility expected to be completed by the spring of 2026.
