Juventus has completed the signing of Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the current season, with the transfer finalized later than expected due to logistical issues. The France international had fallen out of favor under PSG’s head coach Luis Enrique and joins Thiago Motta’s Juventus for the remainder of the campaign without an option to buy.
Juventus will cover Kolo Muani’s salary entirely during his time in Turin, and a potential permanent deal this summer could be considered if he performs well. Other clubs were in contention for the forward, including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Kolo Muani registered two goals and one assist in the current season for PSG, while contributing three goals and one assist for France in international matches.
Why did the deal take so long?
After agreeing on the contract, Juventus had to wait over a week to finalize Kolo Muani’s signing due to PSG needing to manage their loaned players. Under new FIFA regulations, clubs like PSG can only have a maximum of six players out on loan. After Juan Bernat left to join Villarreal, Kolo Muani was able to take his place in the squad.
Despite completing his medical, Kolo Muani is unlikely to debut against Milan this Saturday, as he was registered in PSG’s UEFA Champions League squad.

The forward was instrumental in France’s journey to the UEFA Euro 2024 semifinals last summer and played a vital role in their victory over Belgium.
With a solid scoring record, Kolo Muani’s transition to Juventus marks an exciting new chapter for both the player and the club.
