
Bayern Munich legend and 2014 World Cup winner Thomas Müller announced that he will leave the club at the end of the 2024-25 season, concluding a remarkable 25-year journey during which he has garnered 33 trophies, including 12 Bundesliga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies.
Official Statement: Bayern Munich released a statement confirming Müller’s departure:
“Müller joined the FC Bayern academy at the age of ten in summer 2000, and has since become our record appearance maker with 743 competitive matches.”
Müller’s farewell is set to coincide with the conclusion of the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA, scheduled from June 15 to July 13. Currently, Bayern sits atop the Bundesliga standings.
