AUGUSTA, Ga. – The 2025 Masters has arrived with four days of pristine golf at the nation’s best course beginning and a 95-man field all hoping to complete 72 holes at Augusta National by sliding their arms through a green jacket. The action began Thursday with Round 1 setting the stage for the rest of the year’s first major, and unlike last year, everything is right on time.
The grounds are filled to capacity with patrons eager to witness the performance of Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Collin Morikawa this week.
Oddsmakers see Scheffler as the favorite to secure a second consecutive Masters and a third green jacket in four years. McIlroy, in pursuit of a career grand slam, follows closely after starting his season with two wins before April.
On Thursday, you can watch the complete first rounds of Scheffler, McIlroy, Rahm, Morikawa, Justin Thomas, and others.
CBS Sports offers comprehensive coverage of the 2025 Masters. Tune in to the Featured Groups channel for full rounds from top golfers or enjoy the action at Amen Corner. Note that TV coverage begins later in the day, making this the best option to watch the Masters live on Thursday.
Enjoy expanded broadcast coverage from CBS Sports and Paramount+ all weekend. Check out the complete 2025 Masters TV schedule and coverage guide so you do not miss a single moment from this tradition unlike any other.
