USA Grouped with Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago in 2025 Gold Cup Draw
The USMNT faces Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Haiti as part of the upcoming Gold Cup group stage.
The United States men’s national soccer team (USMNT) will compete against Saudi Arabia, a guest team, in the upcoming Concacaf Gold Cup.
The tournament will play out from June 14 to July 6, culminating at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. This Gold Cup promises a slightly different format, with top players likely participating following a disappointing run in the Concacaf Nations League. Under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, the focus will be on building a stronger identity for the USMNT as they gear up for the World Cup.
In this edition, the US will also face Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago. Notably, games will also be played in Canada for the first time, with Vancouver being among the host cities.
Concacaf Gold Cup Groups
- Group A: Mexico, Costa Rica, Suriname, Dominican Republic
- Group B: Canada, Honduras, El Salvador, Curacao
- Group C: Panama, Jamaica, Guatemala, Guadeloupe
- Group D: United States, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, Saudi Arabia
As teams prepare, the stakes are high for the three host nations ahead of the 2026 World Cup, making this Gold Cup the final competitive tournament for crafting lineups and strategies.
