The Philadelphia Eagles executed their unique ‘Tush Push’ quarterback sneak multiple times during the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders. The play was so effective that it drew an official warning for the Commanders due to repeated offsides
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts initially attempted the sneak on first-and-goal early in the fourth quarter while leading 34-23. The Commanders’ Jonathan Allen was flagged for an offsides penalty, allowing Hurts to attempt the sneak again on the next play, although he was stopped short. Following that, Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu leaped over the line during another attempted sneak, resulting in a delay penalty.
