Manchester United Eyes Matheus Cunha from Wolves Amid Interest from Chelsea and Arsenal

Manchester United is reportedly targeting Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, with strong performances this season and potential competition from other clubs.

Matheus Cunha is on Manchester United’s radar this summer as they look to bolster their attack under manager Ruben Amorim. The Wolves forward, who has been a standout performer in the Premier League, has a release clause of $83.5 million that could be triggered in the upcoming transfer window. Armed with 14 goals in 28 Premier League appearances for a struggling Wolves team, Cunha is also a potential target for Chelsea and Arsenal.

“I need to take the next step,” Cunha mentioned in March, expressing his desire for bigger achievements in football. United’s goal-scoring challenges could see them make a push for Cunha, especially if they seek improvement post-season, depending on their European prospects. Currently on course to avoid relegation, Cunha’s future appears brightly lit away from Molineux.
