2025 NFL Draft: Top Prospects on Day 2 Include Shedeur Sanders and Luther Burden III

As the 2025 NFL Draft moves to Day 2, several standout players including Shedeur Sanders and Luther Burden III remain available after a surprising first round.

The dust is beginning to settle on Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft. A few prospects that had been commonly mocked in the first round are still available at the start of Day 2, including Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Miami quarterback Cam Ward was taken No. 1 overall, but the second quarterback was selected at No. 25 by the New York Giants trading with the Houston Texans to select Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart. In addition to Sanders, Louisville’s Tyler Shough and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe are still on the board.

Among the top prospects still available are:

  1. EDGE Mike Green, Marshall (No. 11 overall)
  2. WR Luther Burden III, Missouri (No. 14 overall)
  3. CB Will Johnson Jr., Michigan (No. 17 overall)
  4. S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina (No. 19 overall)
  5. QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado (No. 28 overall)
