In a thrilling NBA playoff game, Gary Trent Jr. made history by matching a franchise playoff record with nine 3-pointers while scoring a total of 37 points. The Milwaukee Bucks triumphed over the Indiana Pacers with a final score of 117-101, thereby reducing the Pacers’ series lead to 2-1.
The Pacers controlled the first half, leading 57-47 at halftime. However, Trent turned the game around by sinking three 3-pointers early in the third quarter, bringing the Bucks back to a tie at 62.
By the end of the third quarter, the Bucks had a solid 72-69 lead, and their advantage increased to as much as 20 points in the fourth quarter. Trent’s shooting was remarkable, finishing with a 9-for-12 performance from beyond the arc, equaling Ray Allen’s postseason record for the most 3-pointers in a single playoff game.
In addition to Trent, Giannis Antetokounmpo also delivered a strong performance with 37 points and 12 rebounds. The Bucks will host Game 4 on Sunday, eager to even the series.
