Aaron Gordon Secures Win for Nuggets with Last-Second Dunk Against Clippers

In a thrilling playoff game, Aaron Gordon's last-second dunk lifted the Denver Nuggets to a narrow victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, tying their playoff series.

Aaron Gordon secured a dramatic victory for the Denver Nuggets against the Los Angeles Clippers with a game-winning dunk just as time expired, completing a thrilling game that ended 101-99. This win ties their playoff series at 2-2.

Gordon’s final shot came after the Nuggets, who had previously led by 22 points, set the stage for a nail-biting finish as the ball left his hands just before the buzzer, confirmed by video review.

Nikola Jokic was a standout player, contributing 36 points, 21 rebounds, and 8 assists. Michael Porter Jr. and Christian Braun each added 17 points of their own.

For the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard led with 24 points, while Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac scored 22 and 19 points, respectively.

In a tense moment, six technical fouls were handed out during a scuffle just before halftime, including one for Jokic. A comeback by the Clippers saw them take their first lead of the game at 97-96 through a crucial basket from Bogdan Bogdanovic.

The Nuggets maintained composure, with Jokic’s free throw and basket putting them back in the lead before Zubac equalized. Gordon’s rebound and dunk sealed the deal, much to the delight of the Nuggets’ fans despite the Clippers’ efforts to rally in the fourth quarter, where they outscored Denver 34-16.

Russell Westbrook did not play due to foot inflammation. Game 5 is set for Monday in Denver.
