The NFL schedule for 2025 is set to be unveiled on May 14. This announcement was made during the NFL Draft. The schedule release was moved to May from April beginning in 2020 and has remained there since. According to Mike North, the NFL’s vice president of broadcast planning, this schedule change allows for better planning based on draft outcomes.
“One of the benefits of going a little bit later with the schedule release is getting the chance to see what happens in the draft,” North explained. This means the league’s strategy can be adjusted according to big moves and trades.
The schedule will consist of 272 games. Additionally, seven teams will host international games, including the Steelers, who will host a crucial match against the Packers if quarterback Aaron Rodgers signs with Pittsburgh. Here are the teams playing international matches:
- London: Jaguars, Jets, Browns
- Berlin: Colts
- Dublin: Steelers
- Madrid: Dolphins
- Sao Paulo: Chargers
