Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland has been ruled out of Game 4 against the Miami Heat due to a sprained left great toe. The Cavaliers are currently leading the series 3-0 and if they win this game, they will have a break before the next round of the playoffs begins.
Garland suffered the injury during Game 2 and had to miss Game 3, opting not to play again in the following matchup. Cavaliers’ coach Kenny Atkinson commented on the situation, saying:
“I think it’s not an eight-week thing; it’s about managing the pain since the toe gets hit constantly.”
