Guests Joining Beckham
For the semifinals’ second leg involving Inter and Barcelona, Beckham will be accompanied by Oscar-nominated actor Stanley Tucci and acclaimed director Guy Ritchie. Tucci will join Beckham in London for the Inter match, as he is also the host of the Emmy-awarded food docuseries Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy. Ritchie, a longtime friend of Beckham’s, previously featured him in a minor role in the 2017 film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. However, Ritchie may not support either team for this matchup, as he is an avid Chelsea fan, a team not in the current Champions League.
Additionally, James Corden will join Beckham for the following match between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal on Wednesday. The two are friends, with Corden once pulling a prank on Beckham during the unveiling of his statue by LA Galaxy six years ago. Beckham is likely to support PSG for the game, while Corden supports West Ham United, which has yet to compete in the Champions League.
