Today, I’ll delve into my predictions for the 2025 Fantasy football drafting landscape. Jamey Eisenberg invited me to join a 2025 draft that includes rookies this Tuesday, prompting me to rethink how I’d rank rookies versus veterans. Let’s dive in!
Top-150 Overall Rankings for 2025 Fantasy Football
Draft decisions in 2025 – Ashton Jeanty or Puka Nacua? Christian McCaffrey or Brock Bowers? You’re on the clock!
In Tuesday’s mock draft, I had the 1.02 pick in full PPR scoring format, and I selected CeeDee Lamb without hesitation. He could potentially snag 200+ targets next season.
My rankings are tailored for half-PPR, making it a little more challenging to choose between Lamb, Saquon Barkley, and Bijan Robinson, yet I’d still go with Lamb.
The top five players are all solid choices. After that, it becomes complex as each player brings unique strengths. Just ask Adam Aizer, who had to decide between Ashton Jeanty and Puka Nacua. Jeanty was his choice, even in full-PPR league formats. Can you blame him? He may end up being the top Fantasy scorer!
Risk versus reward will be crucial for those picking late in Round 1. Christian McCaffrey stands out as a candidate for the RB1 position, while Brock Bowers and Amon-Ra St. Brown bring safety and potential upside.
I’m particularly interested to see Omarion Hampton’s draft position in August since I selected him at 4.11 in the mock draft.
I’m not down on Brian Thomas Jr. in 2025 either; I’m rather optimistic about Drake London. I just can’t justify ranking BTJ above Bowers. Where do I rank him? It may need consideration in relation to the group of CMC, Derrick Henry, and De’Von Achane.
In my Tuesday’s mock, I was double-sniped when trying to get Ladd McConkey and Jaxon Smith-Njigba at the 2-3 turn, but I still managed Breece Hall and had Hampton come around, making up for it!
And why couldn’t Breece have a breakout year? If he stays healthy, he and his revamped offensive line might be a major challenge for opposing defenses!
Draft Decisions in 2025 – Kaleb Johnson or James Conner? Travis Hunter or Xavier Worthy?
