Warriors Prepare for Possible Game 6 with Curry's Return
Stephen Curry has been cleared for light practices, increasing the chances he could play if the Golden State Warriors make it to Game 6 against the Timberwolves.
Stephen Curry has been approved for shooting drills and light on-court work, following a strained left hamstring. This development provides an opportunity for him to return in a potential Game 6 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, should the Golden State Warriors succeed in winning their next game.
The Warriors confirmed on Wednesday that Curry was making adequate progress in his recovery from the injury sustained during the second round’s opening match. They emphasized that he would be reevaluated ahead of Game 6 in San Francisco on Sunday, assuming they win Game 5.
Currently, the Warriors face challenges in their offensive execution, averaging 17 turnovers per game and shooting only 36% from beyond the arc, significantly affected by Curry’s absence, which is notable considering this is his first hamstring injury.
Additional Stats:
Brandin Podziemski, the starting guard, has struggled, making just 9 of his 40 attempts in the series, including 3 for 17 from three-point range. His contributions have totaled only 30 points throughout the series.
