Nuggets Appoint David Adelman as Full-Time Head Coach Following Playoff Journey
The Denver Nuggets have finalized the hiring of David Adelman as their head coach after a successful playoff performance.
The Denver Nuggets have officially designated David Adelman as their head coach after he showcased his capabilities during the playoffs. Leading the team after stepping in during the playoff preparations, Adelman helped the Nuggets secure a spot in the second round.
Nuggets owner Josh Kroenke expressed pride in Adelman’s leadership, stating the team came together strongly under his guidance.
Adelman succeeded Michael Malone, and under his leadership, the Nuggets managed to win their final three regular-season games, ensuring they bypassed the NBA’s play-in round. They also triumphed over the LA Clippers in a seven-game series and challenged the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder before being defeated on Sunday.
Kroenke mentioned he will take additional time to find a new general manager following Calvin Booth’s dismissal at the same time Malone was relieved from his position. Ben Tenzer has stepped in as the interim GM.
