Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated the MVP ballots this season, achieving unanimous recognition as All-NBA selections. These players joined Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell on the first-team All-NBA roster, marking significant milestones in their careers.

Gilgeous-Alexander claimed the MVP title, with Tatum being a unanimous first-team pick. This year, Mitchell celebrated his first selection.

Antetokounmpo has now been selected for the first team seven times and has earned a total of nine All-NBA selections, while Jokic boasts five first-team appearances, making him a total of seven-time selection. Tatum has climbed to first-team status for the fourth time, and Mitchell has secured an All-NBA nod for the second time.

The following teams were announced:

Second Team

• LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers made the second team for the 21st time in his career.
• Other notable second-team members include: Anthony Edwards (Minnesota), Evan Mobley (Cleveland), Stephen Curry (Golden State), and Jalen Brunson (New York).

Third Team

• Recognized on the third team were Cade Cunningham (Detroit), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana), James Harden (Los Angeles Clippers), Karl-Anthony Towns (New York), and Jalen Williams (Oklahoma City).

This year’s awards mark another high point in NBA history, especially with LeBron James becoming the first player to earn All-NBA recognition at age 40. This achievement is part of an impressive collection of awards that include MVP and coach of the year honors after an extensive voting period that included 100 panelists.
