
For the third consecutive year, ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’, often referred to as the Black national anthem, will be performed at the Super Bowl. Ledisi is set to sing the anthem, which was originally penned by James Weldon Johnson in 1899. This year’s Super Bowl LIX will be held at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9.
