The Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves are the last two teams vying for a spot in the NBA Finals. Currently, the Thunder have a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals after a close win in Game 4 on Monday.

Both teams are eager for a much-anticipated appearance in the NBA Finals, with the Thunder last reaching the finals in 2012 and the Timberwolves yet to make their debut.

The Thunder have performed outstandingly this season, winning 68 games and sweeping the Memphis Grizzlies in the first playoff round. They faced challenges but managed to defeat the Denver Nuggets in the second round, winning the series in seven games. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the frontrunner for the NBA MVP award, has consistently led his team in scoring during the playoffs, contributing 31 points in Game 1 against the Timberwolves.

In contrast, the Timberwolves are looking to improve upon last year’s conference finals performance, where they fell in five games to the Dallas Mavericks.
