Aaron Nesmith Injury Update: Pacers Guard Set to Return for Game 4 Against Knicks

Aaron Nesmith of the Indiana Pacers is cleared to play in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals after an ankle sprain during Game 3.

The Indiana Pacers have confirmed that Aaron Nesmith, their guard, is back in action for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals after suffering a right ankle sprain in Game 3. He played limited minutes in the last game but is now expected to contribute right away.

In Game 3, Nesmith hurt his ankle while attempting a jump pass. He was cleared to play after being evaluated by the team staff. Coach Rick Carlisle shared post-game that Nesmith returned for a stretch in the fourth quarter, indicating that he was fit to continue.

This particular injury is not new for Nesmith, as it marks his second ankle-related issue this season. He had already missed 35 games due to a prior left ankle injury and had limited play during December.

Nesmith’s return is pivotal for the Pacers as he has proven to be a valuable asset throughout the playoffs, averaging 15.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. His presence on the court is crucial as the team aims to secure a win against the New York Knicks in this critical matchup.
