Antonio Conte Remains at Napoli Amid AC Milan's Hiring of Massimiliano Allegri
In a significant twist in the Serie A coaching saga, Napoli's Antonio Conte will continue as manager while AC Milan finalizes Massimiliano Allegri's return.
Recent developments in Serie A coaching dynamics have revealed that Antonio Conte will remain at Napoli despite earlier speculations linking him to Juventus. The club’s owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, confirmed the news, stating, “We keep going, stronger together.” Conte’s future was in doubt after reports suggested that Massimiliano Allegri was poised to take his place at Napoli following his successful title run with the team.
Conte’s existing contract runs through the summer of 2027, and he has opted to reject an approach from Juventus, where he previously served both as player and manager. Meanwhile, Allegri is set to return to AC Milan, a club where he previously enjoyed substantial success, signing a two-year deal.
In addition to this coaching change, De Laurentiis mentioned ongoing plans for Napoli’s roster, which may include securing former Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.
