Understanding the Unique Regulations of the Kings World Cup Clubs

In June, 32 teams descended upon Paris for the latest installment of the Kings World Cup Clubs, a seven-a-side tournament crafted in the spirit of the Kings League format.

Founded by retired Spanish international Gerard Pique in 2022, the Kings League is a unique sporting experience prioritizing entertainment. Unlike traditional soccer, it embraces unconventional rules such as unlimited substitutions and a surprise dice roll that adds unpredictability to the matches.

The tournament showcases an array of noteworthy figures in leadership roles, including Pique himself along with Kaka, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic among others. Neymar and Lamine Yamal are team owners as well, adding further star power to the competition.

The event is set to run from June 1 to June 14, with all matches broadcasted on CBS Sports Golazo Network and YouTube.
