2025 French Open: Quarterfinal Outcomes and Upcoming Semifinals

As the quarterfinals conclude, the next champions of the French Open are on the horizon.

As the quarterfinals of the 2025 French Open come to a close, the tournament edges closer to crowning its next champions.

On the men’s side, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz continues to impress, advancing to the semifinals after defeating American Tommy Paul. Alcaraz aims to secure consecutive titles at Roland Garros, but he must defeat another strong competitor.

Lorenzo Musetti reached his first French Open semifinal after defeating Frances Tiafoe. Musetti previously made an appearance at a Grand Slam semifinal during Wimbledon last year, where he lost to Novak Djokovic.

On the women’s side, the No. 5 seed Iga Swiatek continued her defense of the title, winning against Elina Svitolina to face off against rival Aryna Sabalenka. Coco Gauff, the No. 2 seed, knocked out Madison Keys, and she will face Lois Boisson, who is on an impressive run in the tournament.

The tournament began on May 25 and will conclude with the men’s final on June 8.
