
Italian coach Simone Inzaghi has officially joined the Saudi club Al-Hilal, becoming the highest-paid manager globally with a two-year contract worth $50 million. He departed from Inter Milan after four successful years marked by multiple trophies, including one Serie A title.
Inzaghi’s departure follows a meeting three days after Inter’s UEFA Champions League defeat to PSG. Despite facing setbacks in Europe, he has earned accolades, including two Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana titles.
The accolades were reflected in a statement from Inter, which highlighted Inzaghi’s six trophies: “…Six trophies: one Scudetto, two Coppa Italia titles, and three Italian Super Cups…”

Reflecting on his tenure, Inzaghi commented, “Dear Nerazzurri family, the time has come for me to bid farewell to this Club after a four-year journey.” Inzaghi will now lead Al-Hilal at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
