Jaylen Brown, a four-time All-Star and the MVP of the 2024 NBA Finals, had an impressive average of 22 points, 4.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds during the previous season. His role becomes even more crucial as co-star Jayson Tatum is likely to miss a significant portion of the new season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon, which hindered the Celtics in their championship defense.
Brown’s contract includes a salary of $53 million for the upcoming season, part of a five-year, $304 million agreement, marking it as the largest deal in NBA history at its signing.
