Celebrating One Year to the 2026 World Cup with Soccer Legends

Marcelo and Kaká join other FIFA legends in Miami for a memorable event marking the upcoming World Cup.

To mark one year until the kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a star-studded gathering in Miami was held, celebrating future events as North America gears up for this prestigious tournament.

Prominent figures from FIFA attended, including Brazil’s Marcelo and Kaká, along with Italy’s Alessandro Del Piero and Portugal’s Pepe.

During the event, Kaká had a memorable moment reuniting with the World Cup trophy he secured with Brazil back in 2002, as highlighted by FOX Sports analyst Stu Holden, emphasizing that only prior winners are permitted to touch the iconic trophy.

The night was filled with excitement, including a musical performance by country superstar Shaboozey and moments where Kaká and Del Piero shared reflections on their World Cup experiences. Kaká reminisced about Brazil’s 2002 victory while Del Piero recalled Italy’s triumph in 2006.

Though Portuguese star Pepe has not won the World Cup, he has achieved notable success with three UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid, as did Marcelo, who arrived with a confident demeanor after winning five Champions League trophies.
