Aaron Pico to Make UFC Debut Against Undefeated Movsar Evloev in July
Aaron Pico, a former Bellator standout, is set to make his debut in the UFC, challenging unbeaten Movsar Evloev at UFC Fight Night on July 26.
Former Bellator MMA standout Aaron Pico is set to face Movsar Evloev in a matchup scheduled for July 26, marking his first fight in the UFC. The event will take place at UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi, which will be headlined by Robert Whittaker against Reinier de Ridder.
Dana White confirmed Pico’s debut on social media, noting, “Most people consider him the top free agent in the world. Aaron Pico is a ridiculously violent striker and a very high-level grappler.”
Evloev, with an undefeated record of 19-0, is currently ranked No. 4 in the UFC featherweight division and a top contender for Alexander Volkanovski’s title. This fight is particularly significant as it shows the UFC’s high regard for Pico despite his unranked status.
“After years of hard work, dedication, and unwavering belief, I’ve officially signed with the UFC! This is more than just a dream come true; it’s the beginning of a new chapter… The ultimate goal? To become the UFC champion. I’m ready to work harder than ever before to make that a reality,” Pico shared on Instagram.
