Oklahoma City Sets Parade Details to Honor the 2025 NBA Champions
The Oklahoma City Thunder will celebrate their NBA championship victory with a parade on Tuesday, featuring a route through the city and tributes to players.
The Oklahoma City Thunder triumphed with a compelling 103-91 victory over the Indiana Pacers to clinch the franchise’s first title since its relocation from Seattle. The 1979 championship was originally won as the Seattle SuperSonics. This monumental win is the city’s inaugural title in Oklahoma City.
The victory parade is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 AM CT, commencing at NW 10th Street and N. Harvey Avenue, concluding at SW 6th Street, set to last around 90 minutes.
“The day of the parade will forever live in the annals of our city's history,” said Oklahoma City mayor David Holt. “This is a celebration of our team's historic feat and our city's revival. All Thunder fans from across the city, state, and globe are welcome.”

The Thunder’s impressive run was bolstered by the exceptional play of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who delivered a masterful performance throughout the season, culminating in him being crowned MVP for both the regular and Finals, a feat not seen since Shaquille O’Neal in 2000. Gilgeous-Alexander contributed 29 points, 12 assists, and 5 rebounds in the decisive win against Indiana.
In addition, Oklahoma City holds promising prospects for more championship parades ahead, currently their 2026 championship odds position them as favorites to repeat.
